Drama Group
Since its formation in January 1963, the Church Drama Group has aimed to produce two plays a year, in March and November. Recent productions have included:
Beyond a Joke, The Bride and the Bachelor, Daisy Pulls it Off, An Inspector Calls, Brush with a Body, Rebecca, Pack of Lies, Fish out of Water, Blithe Spirit, A Murder is Announced, Sandcastles, Trap for a lonely man, Picture Perfect. Picture Perfect was specially written by Mike Standing, a member of the Group, to celebrate 40 years of drama within this Church.The Group also takes part in drama in Sunday services and in church musicals, the last one being the very successful 'Jail Break' in November 2007.
